2010-11: Was having a terrific start to the season before suffering a season-ending injury… came from behind to upset Bubba McGinley of Boston University with a sudden-victory 8-6 win (11/5)… cut through the 125-pound bracket to place first at the UB Open, going 4-0 (11/7)… pinned Thomas Gowing of Clarion at the Body Bar Invite (11/20)… was cruising through the bracket at the Reno Tournament of Champions with three pins in the preliminary rounds before falling to injury (12/19).
2009-10: Redshirted but did compete in 12 matches, winning eight of his first 10.
2008-09: Compiled an 11-15 overall record at 125/133... fourth-place finish in the “B” bracket of the 125-pound weight class at the NYS Intercollegiate Championships... competed in the UB Open, Reno Tournament of Champions and Jamestown CC Open... Finished fifth on the team in reversals (4).
High School: Earned four letters and captained two seasons at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute for coach Pete Kennedy... won the 2007 New York State Catholic Championship and qualified for the state meet... Went 34-7 as a senior finishing with 106 career victories... earned All-American honors at the 2007 Fargo Freestyle Junior Nationals and Greco-Roman, placing sixth in both events.
