2011-12: Redshirted, but finished the season 6-4 in open tournaments... finished sixth at the UB Open (11/6)... competed at the Midlands Championship... finished 2nd at the Purple Raider Open, winning three matches along the way (1/15).
2010-11: Made his first appearance in the NCAA tournament after winning the 141-pound bracket at the Mid American Conference championship… finished the season with a career-bests in overall (24) and dual meet (7) wins despite missing over a month of action due to injury… led the team in two-point near falls and was second on the team in three-point near falls… asserted himself on top, pinning his opponents eight times… went 4-0 at the UB Open, good for first place… finished fifth at the Oklahoma Gold Classic (11/13) and third at the Body Bar Invite (11/20)… won a major decision over Josh Yurasits of Drexel, 13-2, at the Bloomsburg Duals (12/12)… shutout Brian Guilfoyle of Binghamton 8-0 for another major decision (1/2)… pinned Gus Sako of Virginia to lead Buffalo to an upset at the Virginia Duals (1/7)… started 3-0 at the New York State Championships before finishing sixth due to injury (1/22)… came back from injury in the regular season finale, beating #30 Tristan DeShazer of Northern Illinois (2/20).... lost to eventual national runner-up Boris Novachkov of Cal Poly at the NCAA Championships (3/17).
2009-10: Handled the main starter role for the Bulls in his first season with the team... finished fourth at the UB Open... went 4-2 in the “A” bracket of the New York State Championships... won 15 matches in his first season.
High School: Four-year letterwinner and two-time captain for coaches Jim Peltier and Rob Majcher at Yale High School... posted a career record of 221-18... as a senior, posted an overall record of 54-2 at 135 pounds... set the Bulldogs’ record for most career wins, most takedowns in a season and most career pins... three-time conference champion... four-time Michigan State Championships top-three finisher... third-place finish in 2006, 2007 and 2009... first-place finish in 2008... 2009 Yale High School Outstanding Athlete of the Year... finished 14-0 overall and named Outstanding Wrestler at 2009 AAU Junior Olympic Games... two-time All-American (silver and bronze) at Disney Duals... five-time AAU Junior Olympics All-American (two gold, a silver and two bronze)... earned All-American honors with a seventh-place finish at NHSCA Senior Nationals... also played football and golf and participated in track and field.
