2011-12: Pushed into the starting lineup due to injuries and finished with six wins... four of his six wins came by fall... won three matches at the UB Open (11/6)... won by fall over Gardner-Webb’s Justin Kozera in UB’s quad meet (12/18)... earned a first-period pin over Rutger’s Jesse Boyden at the Virginia Duals (1/14)... ended the regular season with an 8-3 win over Southern Illinois’ Cole Rogers (2/19).
2010-11: Competed at the Body Bar Invite (11/20).
2009-10: Took down teammate Robert Ryhal to win the Niagara County Community College Open... finished third in the "B" bracket of the New York State Championships... finished 13-12 overall.
2008-09: Redshirted... compiled an overall record of 10-3 at 285... captured first-place titles at the Jamestown CC Open and “B” bracket of the NYS Intercollegiate Championships... also competed in the Wilkes Open.
High School: Earned six letters and captained three seasons for coaches Paul and Bob Diekel at Whitehall High School... Posted a record of 38-6 as a senior at 197 and 285 pounds and qualified for the state championships... also lettered at end in football for the Railroaders, twice earning All-Section II honors.
Personal: Born February 20, 1990... son of Ross and Anne Mason... has a brother, Zak and a sister, Paige... enjoys salsa dancing... favorite movies include Billy Madison andDumb and Dumber... related to former major leaguer Randy St. Claire.
