2012-13: Picked up a second place finish at theOutdoor MAC Championships in the javelin throw with a toss of 66.77meters...recorded a career-best javelin throw of 222-11 (67.96m) atthe Wake Forest Open as he earned a third place finish.
2011-12: Finished third in the javelin (204-0)at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Advanced to the NCAA EastRegionals, finishing 28th in the javelin (198-11). Postedseason-best javelin throw of 208-0 at the Penn Relays as hefinished fourth.
2010-11: Did not compete during the indoor oroutdoor track seasons.
High School: Lettered three seasons andcaptained one year for coach Mike Hambrick at North AlleghenySenior High School. Finished second in the boys high school javelinat the 2010 Penn Relays (209-8). Set school record of 212-6 in thejavelin. Also participated three years for Hambrick with the Longand Strong West club team.
Personal: Born March 29, 1992. Son of Scott andCheryl Sunday. Has three sisters (Shawna, Cecily, Felicia).Favorite athletes are olympic champion javelin throwers AndreasThorkildsen and Jan Zelezny. Favorite foods include fried tilapiaand shrimp. Favorite TV shows include Eastbound and Downand That 70s Show. Majoring in business management.
