Junior (2024-25): Earned Academic All-MAC honors...ran a personal record 6k time of 19:58.8 at Colgate's Harry Lang Invitational, finishing ninth in the field of 50 runners...had a season best time of 25:29.7 at the Canisius Alumni Classic.
Sophomore (2023 - 24): Did not compete.
Freshman (2022 - 23): Competed in five meets...ran his personal best 8k performance at MAC Championships, finishing the race in 25:19.5.
High School: Six-time PIAA All-State honors...PIAA Champion in the 4x400 meter...set eight school records and one county record.
Personal: Parents are Erika and Jason Fluharty...sister Lexi ...chose UB for the welcoming coaches and team, as well as the school having a great engineering program...inspired by my two high school coaches...favorite athlete is Eliud Kipchoge, because he is by far the best runner across all distances, and he overall seems like a really great guy...favorite movie is Avatar...likes playing video games and hanging out with friends…. loves to eat Sushi.
