2014: Did not compete in a race for the Bulls as a sophomore.
2013: Brown competed in five of the Bulls’ meets during her freshman campaign. She led Buffalo with a team- and season-best six-kilometer time of 21:42 at the NCAA Northeast Championship to place 63rd out of 247 runners. Brown also paced the team with a 25th-place 6K finish of 22:07 at the MAC Championship. She clocked a 19:00 5K to place third at the UB Stampede on Sept. 21.
High School: Earned 12 letters and was a two-year team captain at Holy Trinity High School. Set the school record in the 800-meter run (2:13), 1,000 (3:01), 600 (1:37) and 2K steeplechase (7:38). Was the Catholic High School State cross country champion as a senior. Earned scholar-athlete status four straight seasons.
Personal: Born February 9, 1995. Daughter of Kenneth and Doris Brown. Has two brothers, Russell and Kevin. Enjoys listening to classic rock and pop rock and her favorite music groups are Coldplay and Foo Fighters. She lists her favorite movies as Ever After and My Cousin Vinny. Her favorite TV shows are Nashville and Arrested Development. Majoring in speech and hearing science.
