Bio
2022: Appeared in 19 games, earning seven starts, as a sophomore… Recorded one assist and four shots… Assisted on the game-winning goal in a big road win at Ohio (9/25)… Earned Academic All-MAC honors for the first time in her career.
2021: Appeared in all 20 games, earning 19 starts, in her freshman campaign… Named to the MAC All-Freshman team… recorded her first career assist on the game-winning goal at Binghamton (9/5)… recorded a pair of assists in the win at Ball State (9/30)… Scored goal goals, including the game winner, in the win over Western Michigan (10/14).
High School: Ruken comes to Buffalo from Toronto, Ontario where she attended Harbord Collegiate Institute and played club soccer for the North Toronto Soccer Club and the NTSC League One team. Ruken also represented the Ontario Provincial Team for her U14-U16 years. With North Toronto, coached by Chris Vikers, Ruken had great success, winning the OPDL Cup twice, while also leading her team to a Charity Shield victory in 2018. Ruken's North Toronto Nitros were also champions of the Ontario Summer Games in 2019 as well as quarter finalists at the Dallas International Girl's Cup in 2018.
Major: Plans to major in Communication.
