Bulls to Play at South Alabama in MAC-SBC Challenge on Feb. 7th

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) and Sun Belt Conference (SBC) announced the second matchups for the 2025-26 MAC-SBC Challenge on Tuesday afternoon. The Bulls (13-2, 3-0 MAC) will travel to Mobile, Ala. To play the South Alabama Jaguars (11-5, 2-2 SBC) on Saturday Feb. 7th. This will mark the second all-time meeting between the Bulls and Jaguars. The first meeting took place on Nov. 11, 2023, in Buffalo for the first ever game in the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. The Jaguars won the contest, 70-56.
The Bulls are 3-2 in the Challenge with wins over Georgia Southern (2/10/24), Old Dominion (11/4/24) and Southern Miss. (11/3/25). Overall, the Sun Belt holds a 31-30 record over the MAC. In the November matchups this season, the MAC went 9-4 against the Sun Belt.
Scheduling assistance is provided by Ordinal Sports Group. In addition to relevant NET data, geography and frequency of past contests is considered in determining the matchups.
Each MAC-SBC Challenge game will be carried on an ESPN platform.
