Abbey Nagel Named MAC Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced their weekly softball honors on Tuesday afternoon. Junior first baseman Abbey Nagel took home MAC Player of the Week honors.
Abbey Nagel had a stellar week at the dish for the Bulls. She hit .588 on the week as she was 10-for-17. She finished with 6 singles, 2 doubles and a pair of home runs for a 1.059 slugging percentage. She crossed the plate nine times as she ripped in 7 RBIs. She helped the Bulls sweep their Big 4 rival St. Bonaventure on Tuesday as well as secure a win at Western Michigan as the Bulls went 3-2 on the week.
This is her first weekly honor in her career.
The Bulls are back in action this weekend when they host the Northern Illinois Huskies for a three-game series.
