
Mid-American Conference Announces Men’s Basketball Conference Slate

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The University at Buffalo in conjunction with the Mid-American Conference announced the 2024-25 conference schedule on Wednesday morning. In total, each MAC program will play 18 games.
Buffalo will turn its attention to MAC play in the new year. The conference opener will take place on Saturday, Jan. 4 in Oxford, Ohio against the Miami RedHawks. The Bulls will then come back to Alumni Arena for a two-game homestand against Ohio (Tuesday, Jan. 7) and Kent State (Saturday, Jan. 11). UB will hit the road for three of their next four games starting on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at Bowling Green. On Saturday, Jan. 18, they'll face the Western Michigan Broncos in Kalamazoo, Mich. The defending MAC Champion Akron Zips will make their way to Western New York on Tuesday, Jan. 21. To close out the month of January, the Bulls will travel to Ypsilanti, Mich. on Saturday, Jan. 25, followed by a home game against the Central Michigan Chippewas on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
UB opens the month of February by hosting Ball State on Saturday, Feb. 1. Following this game, the Bulls are back on the road at Toledo on Tuesday, Jan. 4. The conference will take a break from MAC play on Saturday, Feb. 10 as this will be the second game of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. All MAC teams will play on the road at a Sun Belt school that will be announced in January. UB will head to DeKalb, Ill. to face the Northern Illinois Huskies on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Bowling Green will make their way east on Saturday, Feb. 15 followed by Western Michigan on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The Bulls will wrap up the month of February on the road at Ball State (22nd) and at Central Michigan (25th).
The Bulls will conclude the regular season with three games in the month of March. On Saturday, March 1 UB will host the Toledo Rockets, followed by the Miami (OH) RedHawks on Tuesday, March 4. Their final game will be at Akron on Friday, March 7.
Game dates and times are subject to change as the MAC's television schedule will be announced at a later date.
The MAC Tournament will take place at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in downtown Cleveland from March 13-15.
