Bulls Fall to Cornell on Saturday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team fell to Cornell 5-2 at Miller Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulls started strong taking the doubles point as Ambre Amat and Esmee Andresen won 6-1 at first singles and Deanne Choo and Jagmeet Kaur followed with a 6-1 win of their own at the third position to give UB a 1-0 lead in the match.
The Big Red got wins at first and second singles before Amat earned a hard-fought 7-5, 7-5 victory at fifth singles to tie the match at two. The visitors then answered with a win at the sixth position and sealed the match with a three-set win at third singles.
Up next, Buffalo returns to action on Thursday, March 7 at Syracuse.
