
Bulls Defeat Cleveland State 5-2 on Friday

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team started weekend play strong with a 5-2 win at Cleveland State on Friday.
The Vikings took the doubles point with wins at first and third doubles. Azra Deniz Comlek and Laura Koralnik won 6-4 at the second position.
The Bulls then dominated in singles action, winning five of six matches in straight sets. Comlek started things off with a 6-2, 6-2 win at second singles and Ambre Amat followed with a 6-4, 6-0 at the fifth position. Esmee Andresen picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win at fourth singles and Deanne Choo clinched the match for UB with a 6-1, 6-3 win at the sixth position. Koralnik wrapped things up for Buffalo with a 6-3, 7-5 win at third singles.
Up next, Buffalo returns to Western New York to host Cornell on Saturday, March 2 at Miller Tennis Center at 1:30pm.
