Bulls Compete at MAC Indoor Tournament

OXFORD, Ohio - The University at Buffalo women's tennis team continued fall play this weekend as the Bulls took part in the MAC Indoor Tournament, hosted by Miami (OH).
The Bulls had their best performance of the weekend in doubles action as Jagmeet Kaur and Maria Glowacka advanced to the semifinals of the doubles draw, as they defeated Western Michigan's Audrey Smitek/Lola Glantz (WMU), 6-2, 6-7, 10-8 in the quarterfinals before falling to Eastern Michigan's Sabrina Brichackova in a three-set battle 7-6, 2-6, 5-10.
In singles action, after dropping their opening round matches, Kaur and Esmee Andresen responded with wins in the consolation draw, the former defeating WMU's Smitek 6-2, 6-4 with the later picking up a hard-fought 6-2, 5-7, 14-12 victory over WMU's Lola Glantz.
Buffalo concludes fall action on November 1-3 as they host the UB Indoor Invite at Miller Tennis Center.
