Akopyan, Schietekat Sedas Named MAC Doubles Team of the Week

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis duo of Gabriella Akopyan and Lolina Schietekat Sedas has been named the Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week, the conference office announced on Thursday.
Schietekat Sedas and Akopyan paired together for the first time this season and had a successful outing as they defeated Bowling Green 6-3 to help UB clinch the doubles point en route to a 5-2 victory over the Falcons. The Bulls are now 4-2 in league action.
Buffalo is in Kalamazoo for a clash with the Western Michigan Broncos this afternoon at 1pm.
