Comlek, Choo Named MAC Doubles Team of the Week

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's tennis duo of Azra Deniz Comlek and Deanne Choo has been named the Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
Comlek and Choo were perfect on the weekend, going 3-0 in doubles play to lead UB to a 2-1 record a week ago. On February 25, they didn't drop a set, cruising to a 6-0 win at second doubles against Cleveland State. In Saturday's doubleheader action, the duo defeated Rochester 6-1 and Niagara 6-3, both at first doubles.
The pair has recorded a 7-3 overall record so far this season.
The Bulls are off this weekend and will be back in action March 14-15 with a pair of spring training matches in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
