MAC Announces Conference Slate

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The University at Buffalo in conjunction with the Mid-American Conference announced the 2022-23 conference schedule on Wednesday morning.
Buffalo will turn its attention to MAC play in the new year, hosting Ohio in the conference opener on Tuesday, Jan. 3. The Bulls will stay home as Northern Illinois will visit Alumni Arena on Saturday, Jan. 7. The Bulls will hit the road for a two-game road trip as they will face Miami (OH) (1/10) and Central Michigan (1/14).
UB returns home for a two-game home stand on Tuesday, Jan. 17 as they host Bowling Green, and Toledo on Saturday, Jan. 21. The team will then travel to Muncie, Ind. to face Ball State (1/24) and will make its way back east as they play at Kent State on Saturday, Jan. 28. The Bulls will close out the month of January with a home contest against the reigning MAC Champion Akron Zips on Tuesday, Jan. 31.
UB will open the month of February at Western Michigan on Saturday the 4th. The Bulls will return home for two games starting on Tuesday, Feb. 7 against Eastern Michigan, then will clash with Kent State on Saturday, Feb. 11.
Four of their last six games will be on the road starting with a trip to Athens, Ohio to take on the Ohio Bobcats on Valentine's Day. On Saturday, Feb. 18 the Bulls will stay on the road and battle the Akron Zips. UB is back home on Tuesday, Feb. 21 as the Central Michigan Chippewas fly over Lake Erie. UB will head back west on Saturday, Feb. 25 to square off against the Toledo Rockets. They will close their road schedule by playing Northern Illinois on Tuesday, Feb. 28. The Bulls will wrap up their regular season on Friday, March 3 as they bring Miami (OH) to Alumni Arena.
Game dates and times are subject to change as the MAC's television schedule will be announced at a later date.
The MAC Tournament will take place at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in downtown Cleveland from March 9-11.
