KANSAS CITY – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) today announced the 2020-21 NABC Honors Court, recognizing men's basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics this past season. Joining the Honors Court for the University at Buffalo is graduating senior Jayvon Graves.
Graves, a second-team All-MAC selection this past year, finished with a cumulative GPA of over 3.2, earning his degree in communications. Graves finished this past year third on the team in scoring at 14.2 points per game and third in rebounding at 6.1 per contest.
He ended his career eighth all-time on Buffalo's scoring list with 1,436 career points.
Despite other UB players hitting the GPA mark for this award, Graves was the only player who met the criteria as an academic junior or senior.
Earlier this spring three Bulls were named academic All-MAC, including sophomore David Skogman and graduate students Brock Bertram and Tra'von Fagan.
