UB's Stojanovska Selected ITA Scholar Athlete

SKILLMAN, NJ – Tanja Stojanovska of The University at Buffalo, State University of New York women's tennis team was named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Scholar Athlete Team.
Named Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year, Stojanovska was one of six named to the all-conference first team.
A native of Ohrid, Macedonia, Stojanovska finished the year at first singles and completed the season with a 6-1 MAC record at first and second singles. She went 20-9 overall in singles play. Stojanovska also posted a 3-3 MAC record at second and third doubles, including an overall record of 14-11 on the year.
Stojanovska was selected MAC Singles Player of the Week on April 1 and earned UB Female Athlete of the Week praise on Oct. 13 and March 30.
