With a 12-5 MAC record, the UB men have secured no worse than a three seed and a bye into the Quarterfinals, which will take place on Thursday, March 13 at 9pm. With one game remaining, a UB victory on Saturday coupled with a Western Michigan loss on Friday night would give Buffalo the two seed and bye straight into Friday's semifinals.
Heading into tonight's women's basketball game vs. Akron, the Bulls are sitting in the fourth and final bye with two games remaining. UB can finish anywhere between fourth and sixth in the MAC standings and have at least guaranteed themselves a home first round tournament game, which would be played on Monday night at 7pm at Alumni Arena. Second round games begin on Wednesday afternoon in Cleveland. As long as the Bulls hold on to the fourth seed, they would not play until Thursday afternoon in the Quarterfinals.
All season ticket holders already have a ticket to first round home games as part of their season ticket package.
Fans looking to join the Bulls in Cleveland should fill out the attached order form and they can drop it off at the Guest Relations desk in the lobby of Alumni Arena during Saturday's doubleheader.
