
Bulls to Play at Oakland in Second Round of CIT

BUFFALO, NY – After defeating American in the opening round of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament on Wednesday, the University at Buffalo men's basketball team learned it will play at Oakland University on Saturday afternoon. The game will tipoff at 2:00 pm at Oakland's O'Rena.
Buffalo earned a road win at American, 78-61, on Wednesday night in the first round of the CIT. Javon McCrea and Zach Filzen each scored 18 points for the Bulls. Mitchell Watt added 15 points and nine rebounds.
Oakland is 18-15 overall and is coming off an 86-69 win over Bowling Green on Wednesday night. The Grizzlies feature the nation's leading scorer, Reggie Hamilton, who is averaging 26.1 points per game. Oakland ranks eighth in the nation in scoring, averaging 79.8 points per game. The Grizzlies love to shoot it from long range, averaging 9.3 three-pointers per game, good for third in the country.
This will be the first ever meeting between the schools. Oakland plays in the Summit League. The Grizzlies and Bulls have a few common opponents this season. Oakland lost to Ohio and Western Michigan, defeated Bowling Green and split two meetings with South Dakota State.
