Proior to Buffalo: The incoming freshman heads to Buffalo with numerous athletic honors to go with her academic accolades...Rancourt was a two-time First-Team All-State selection in 2024 and 2025, as she was a four-time All-District honoree...In her career, she tallied over 1,000 kills as she took her high school program to States in consecutive seasons...Off the court, she earned Academic Excellence honors all four years at Patriot.
"Soleil is coming to UB from one of the strongest, most successful clubs in the US and will be rounding out a strong group of pins who can play on either the left or rightside," state Head Coach Scott Smith. "While we anticipate her playing mostly as an opposite, she has a strong work ethic and skill set that could open doors for her later on. Soleil's leadership and maturity is what really stood out to us through the recruiting process beyond the obvious height and ability that she brings to the court!"
