Prior to Buffalo: Willis comes from Western Carolina where she saw action in 22 matches with starts in seven contests..Tallying 80 kills, the Florida native had three matches with 10+ kills including season-high 12 in home match with SoCon Tournament Champion Wofford...Defensively she added 30 digs including a season-high five digs against Wofford & Furman in home bouts...At the net, the 6'2" outside hitter finished with nine blocks as she had season-high two rejections against The Citadel & Furman at home along with road match at Furman...Prior to her time at Western Carolina, she was a multisport athlete in high school competing in volleyball and basketball...In 2023, she helped the basketball team to a State Championship appearance...She earned Sun Preps Beach Volleyball Pair of the Year and Female Athlete of the Year honors.
