Following a Forlin kill, the Bulls went up 23-22, but a crucial service error tied the set at 23. Bowling Green snatched the final two points to win the set and match.
"While we aren't satisfied with the final result of the match it was good to see us compete hard and push one of the top programs in the MAC," stated Head Coach Scott Smith. "We were working through a new line up and I felt it showed a lot of promise. Unfortunately, we had a few more miscues than we would like in the final points of the fourth and let it slip away. We have a lot of work ahead of us to get ready for Western next weekend."
The Bulls are back in action for a pair of matches at Western Michigan next Friday. Match coverage will be on ESPN+.
