Prior to Buffalo: Adebayo joins the UB volleyball program from Houston, Texas...In 2022, she earned Second-Team All-District honors at Westside High School...In her sophomore (2023) and junior (2024) seasons, she elevated her game as she went on to take home First-Team All-District honors...In her senior season, the 6'2" middle was honored with the District Player of the Year and Skyline Breakout Player of the Year distinction.
"Abisola stood out to us because of her character and coachability," stated Head Coach Scott Smith. "Not only that, but Abi is a tremendous athlete who is rapidly growing into her potential. While starting volleyball later than many of her peers she is aggressive at the net both blocking and attacking and has a great work ethic. She is the type of player that makes those around her better and she will add depth and raise the level of competition with our middles group!"
