2017-2018: Ran 4 XC meets for the Bulls, 8k XC best of 26:39.0 at the Canisius Invite. Outdoor T&F season ran personal best of 31:40.16/10,000m, placed 14th at the MAC Championships.
2018-2019: Placed 37th at the MAC XC Championships and 55th at the NCAA NE Regional Championships.
2019-2020: Redshirt.

High School Bests: 1600m/4:28.96, 3200m/9:46.89
High School Highlights: Set high school records in the 1600m and 3200m. Section 10 Champion in 1600m, 3-time NYS Qualifier.

Son of Mary and Oscar Vazquez. Siblings … Calette, Nicolle, Sharimar. Inspired by family, Eliud Kipchoge, and Michael Jordan. Favorite athlete is Donavan Brazier because he is an incredible runner and when hurt hits he pushes even more. When not running or in the classroom, likes to play soccer and Madden. Favorite Movie - Space Jam. Best food ever - Rice and Beans with Steak. A random Fun Fact: Born in Guayama Puerto Rico into a military family. Move several times growing up, ending with his family residing in upstate New York. Why Oscar chose UB: Chose UB because it was the best fit academically and athletically.
