Softball Adds Kate Dailor to the 2026 Roster

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo softball Head Coach Chelsea Plimpton announced the addition of Bucknell transfer Kate Dailor (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.) to the 2026 roster.
The Rochester native returns to the Western New York area after playing her freshman season at Bucknell. The utility player appeared in 32 of the Bisons' 48 games with one start. As a pinch-running specialist, Dailor scored eight runs and finished with three stolen bases.
During her time at Honeoye Falls Lima, she was a four-time letterwinner in softball. The three-year captain hit the game-winning run in at the 2021 Section V Championship. Dailor led the team in triples (2022), walks (2023) and home runs (2023). She was named All-Grater Rochester Honorable Mention in 2022 and 2023.
