Bulls Sweep Bowling Green on Friday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team dominated from start to finish as they cruised to a 7-0 win over Bowling Green at Miller Tennis Center on Friday afternoon.
The Bulls got off to a great start, winning the doubles point as Azra Deniz Comlek and Laura Koralnik won 6-3 at second doubles and Ambre Amat and Esmee Andresen followed with a 6-4 victory at the first position to give UB a 1-0 lead in the match.
Buffalo continued their strong play in singles action as Comlek cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win at second singles and Jagmeet Kaur followed with a dominant 6-2, 6-1 victory at the first position to put UB up 3-0 in the match. Andresen then clinched the match with a 6-4, 6-1 win at fifth singles.
Koralnik added to the lead, battling to a 4-6, 6-2, 10-6 win at third singles and Deanne Choo followed with a 7-5, 6-2 win at the sixth position. Amat completed the sweep with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 victory at fourth singles.
Buffalo returns to action on Friday, April 5 as they take on Western Michigan in the second match of a doubleheader with the UB men at 2:30pm.
