Bulls Back in Action at SIUE on Sunday

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team will be back in action on Sunday when it travels to SIUE-Edwardsville. The Bulls are looking to improve to 2-0 in Mid-American Conference duals.
Buffalo has won two of its last three duals, including its last two outings against Edinboro and Bucknell on December 18.
SIU-Edwardsville joined the MAC as a wrestling member in 2018 and the Bulls have won three of the four meetings since. Last season, UB earned a 24-12 victory over the Cougars at Alumni Arena.
Both the Cougars and Bulls have wrestlers in the national rankings. SIUE has three ranked wrestlers – Saul Ervin is ranked 24th at 141, Caleb Tyus is ranked 24th at 149 and Colton McKiernen is ranked 17th at 285. For UB, Michael Petite is ranked 22nd at 157 and Giuseppe Hoose is ranked 28th at 184.
Sunday's dual is scheduled to start at 2 pm (EST). The dual will air on ESPN+.
