Yale struck first in the 12th minute as Ellie Rappole was left wide open in the box and she converted to give the Bulldogs an early 1-0 lead.
The Bulldogs would add another goal in the 23rd minute as Bulls' keeper Emily Kelly came out of the net to make a save but Rappole was there for the rebound to put Yale up 2-0 at the break.

The Bulls got on the board in the 66th minute as Barberic was taken down in the box and converted on the ensuing penalty kick for her third goal of the year to cut the Yale lead to 2-1.
Buffalo would continue to attack as Peyton Robertson gained control in the midfield and played a ball up ahead to Kaitlyn Walsh and she played a beautiful ball through to Gianna Yurchak who banged home the equalizer to tie the game 2-2 in the 76th minute.
The Bulls had one last chance on a corner kick in the 87th minute but a pair of attempts were turned away and the game headed to overtime.
Barberic had a great look just over a minute into overtime as she banged one off the crossbar but UB would capitalize just a few minutes later in the 95th minute as freshman Kaya Schultz played a great ball through to Zumpano who found the back of the net for the game-winner to secure the 3-2 road victory for the Bulls.
Schultz was named Player of the Game by the UB coaches after a stellar performance in the midfield. Kelly finished the game with three saves, while Welch had four stops for Yale.
"Total credit to Yale as they completely played us off the field in the first 45 minutes," said head coach Shawn Burke. "We challenged our players at the half and boy did they respond. They took it upon themselves to change the outcome. Great leadership changed our fortunes and the players deserve all the credit."
