Bulls Set For A Pair Of Weekend Matches

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team heads to northwest Ohio this weekend for two matches beginning on Friday at Toledo and continuing with a neutral site match against Northern Illinois on Saturday.
UB is 7-7 on the year and had its three-match winning streak snapped last weekend following a pair of 4-3 defeats against Bowling Green and Ball State. Buffalo has four regular season matches remaining on the year. Three UB players have eight singles wins this year including Pia Schwarz, Azra Deniz Comlek, and Hsin-Yuan Shih.
Toledo is 12-7 on the season and 8-3 in league play entering Friday's contest. The Rockets have won six straight matches, including a contest in Buffalo earlier this month.
The Bulls will then meet up with Northern Illinois for the second time this season in the Toledo area. The Huskies are 13-12 on the year and 5-5 in league play. NIU defeated Buffalo back on Mar. 20.
Buffalo will return for its final home match on Friday, Apr. 30 against Miami (OH).
