
Brandon Burke is Set for New Heights at NCAA Championships

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The 2021 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships are set to begin this Thursday where Brandon Burke will participate in the high jump. Burke will represent the University at Buffalo at this year's national championships. The University or Arkansas will host the championships in their state of the art Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark.
The 2021 Mid-American Conference high jump champion, First Team All-MAC and MAC Co-Men's Field Performer of the Year honoree ranks tied for sixth in the NCAA Division I with a height of 2.19-meters. Burke broke the school record this season and is undefeated to this point in the season.
Burke will be facing tough competition as he squares off against fellow high jumpers from LSU, USC, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Auburn, to name a few. A total of 16 jumpers will participate this year.
Live championship coverage will be streamed on ESPN3. The championships will begin on Thursday, March 11 at noon EST. Men's high jump action is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. EST on Friday, March 12. Additional details on times of the live ESPN3 coverage will be forthcoming. A re-air of the championship will take place starting at 9 p.m. EST on Sunday, March 14 on ESPNU.
