In 2022, he was promoted to associate athletic director for communications after serving as assistant athletic director for communications since 2012. He oversees an office responsible for directing, planning and implementing all communications, media relations and publicity for Buffalo’s 16 men’s and women’s intercollegiate athletic teams. He is the direct contact for UB’s football and wrestling teams.
Along with overseeing the department's communications efforts, Fuller was promoted to sport administrator for the UB wrestling program in 2024.

Recently, Fuller successfully promoted linebacker Shaun Dolac, who became UB football's first-ever consensus All-American in 2024. Dolac earned first-team honors from the Walter Camp Football Foundation, Associated Press, the Football Writers Association of America and The Sporting News.
Fuller also handled all media responsibilities for All-American linebacker Khalil Mack – the fifth overall selection in the 2014 NFL Draft and highest drafted player in school history.
One of his proudest accomplishments was reviving the Dr. and Mrs. Edmond J. Gicewicz Family UB Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021. He oversees the selection committee.
In 2009, Buffalo’s athletic communications staff received the Super 11 Award by the Football Writers Association of America as a sports information department that exemplified excellent media relations.
Since 2004, Fuller has volunteered his services when the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament has been held in Buffalo, including serving as press conference moderator.
Fuller was originally hired as an assistant athletic communications director in July, 2002. He started out working with the men’s and women’s soccer, men’s basketball and baseball teams. He was promoted to athletic communications director in 2005.
Fuller came to Buffalo from San Francisco State University where he served as sports information director from 2000-02. He oversaw the publicity efforts of the Gators’ 16 intercollegiate athletic teams.
A 1995 graduate of Temple University with a degree in journalism, Fuller returned to Temple in 1998 and served as a graduate assistant in the Owls’ sports media relations office for two years while earning his master’s degree in sports administration.
Fuller began his career in sports communications in 1997 as the media relations director for the Memphis Chicks Baseball Club - the AA affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.
