2012-13: Posted her best times of the season at the Ohio State Winter Invite, including a lifetime best time of 24.62 in the 50 freestyle. Also shattered her lifetime best in the 100 freestyle (52.93) and the 200 freestyle (1:55.16).
2011-12: Posted then lifetime-best times in 50 freestyle (24.71), 100 freestyle (54.90) and 200 freestyle (1:59.55) at the MAC Championships, racing as an exhibition entrant.
2010-11: Raced as an exhibition entrant at the MAC Championships. Finished the 50 freestyle in 26.18 and the 100 freestyle in 57.96.
High School: Lettered and captained at Mount Mercy Academy for coach Mary Colby. Reached all-time top 10 in every event she competed in for the Wizards. Also swam for Hamburg and Eden Dolphins swim clubs coached by Chris Nellis.
Personal: Born July 23, 1992. Daughter of Peter and Kathleen Grimm. Has one brother (Peter Jr.) and one sister (Jennifer). Favorite athletes include Michael Phelps and Natalie Coughlin. Favorite foods include sushi, BBQ ribs and strawberries. Favorite TV shows include One Tree Hill, Grey’s Anatomy andBrothers and Sisters. Father, Peter, pitched for UB baseball team from 1981-83 and played in the Cincinnati Reds minor league organization for three years. Majoring in nursing.
