2017-2018: Competed at 5 XC meets, placed 62nd at the MAC XC Championships. Indoor season set PR of 4:19.72/Mile, placed 9th at the MAC 3000m championships. Outdoor season ran a PR of 14:48.70/5000m at the Bison Classic. Won the UB Invite 3000m in 8:29.1
2018-2019: Placed 33rd at the MAC XC Championships. Ran 4 indoor meets for the Bulls. Ran 5 outdoor meets including the MAC Championships 5000m placing 15th.
2019-2020: Placed 32nd at the MAC XC Championships, helping the Bulls to a 3rd place team finish. Ran PR of 24:59.2 at the Paul Short Invite. Won the Indoor Akron Invite 3000m. Earned the Silver Medal at the MAC Indoor Championships in the 3000m in a personal best of 8:19.31, which is #2 on the UB All-Time Top-10 List.

Son of John and Gretchen Flannery. Siblings… Hayley and Lily. Inspired by his family and friends. Favorite Athlete is Cristiano Ronaldo, he elevates everyone around him. Enjoys playing basketball, soccer and reading. Favorite movie is Avatar the Last Airbender and Bandslam. Must have Steak and Potatoes! A random Fun Fact: Likes playing video games. I didn’t start running until junior year of High School. Why Thomas chose UB: Selected UB because it is close to home and the team was like a family.
