Hoof Prints: Has been a solid reserve defensive tackle over the past three seasons and looks ready to make the move to a starting role in 2011...has excellent athletic ability to go with his size...chose Buffalo for the atmosphere and the opportunity to play right away.
Junior (2010): Was a key defensive line reserve, filling in admirably for much of the season... had 24 total tackles... had three tackles against Connecticut (9/25)...had a season-high six tackles, one for a loss in a win over Bowling Green (10/2)... had one tackle for loss against Temple (10/23)...had three tackles against Eastern Michigan (11/20).
Sophomore (2009): Appeared in all 12 games and started once...had nine tackles, including a sack on the season...also added an interception, a pass breakup and a forced fumble...had a tackle and a forced fumble against Central Michigan (10/3)...had a pair of tackles against Bowling Green (11/3)...had his first career interception against Ohio (11/10)...had a sack against Kent State (11/27).
Freshman (2008): Saw action in the final 12 games and started once...had 17 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack...added a quarterback hurry and two fumble recoveries...had a pair of tackles, including a half tackle for loss, against Central Michigan (9/27)...had four tackles against Army (10/18)...recovered a fumble in the fourth overtime to set up the game-winning field goal against Akron (11/13)...had a season-high six tackles, including a sack against Bowling Green (11/21)...had a pair of tackles against Connecticut in the International Bowl.
High School: Suffered a serious leg injury during his senior season, but was nominated for the McDonald’s All-Star Game, the Big 33 (Ohio vs. Pennsylvania) and East-West All-Star games...an All-State selection as a junior for coach Eric Sampson while starring as both an offensive and defensive tackle...was twice a captain, while earning four letters...also earned four letters in wrestling.
