Hoof Prints: Versatile defender who has played both defensive back and linebacker in his career...will challenge for a starting linebacker spot in 2011...has been extremely involved in the “Bulls in the Community” program...plans on becoming a math teacher.
Junior (2010): Saw action in seven games, recording 26 total tackles and a half sack... made two tackles for loss, a half sack and three total tackles in a win over Rhode Island (9/2)... had three solo tackles and a tackle for loss against Baylor (9/11)... made a season-high nine stops against Ball State (11/12).
Redshirt Sophomore (2009): Appeared in all 12 games and started once...really came on at the end of the season...had 24 tackles, including 15 solo efforts on the year...added three tackles for loss...in his only start of the season against Ohio (11/10), he had a season-high nine tackles (six solo), two tackles for loss and a quarterback hurry...had four tackles and a pass breakup against Bowling Green (11/3)...also had four tackles (all solo) at Miami (11/18).
Sophomore (2008): Sat out the season as a redshirt.
Freshman (2007): Appeared in all 12 games and started two…had 33 tackles (21 solo), a tackle for loss, an interception and a pass breakup…had a pair of tackles and a pass breakup against Baylor (9/22)…had four tackles (three solo) against Ohio (10/4)…had four tackles (three solo) and an interception against Akron (10/25)…had a season-high 12 tackles (five solo) against Miami (OH) (11/3).
High School: Outstanding safety prospect who was a two-year captain and three-year letterwinner at Fairborn HS...rated the 128th best safety prospect in the nation by ESPN.com...a member of the Ohio South All-Star team and his league’s offensive player of the year...an outstanding athlete who earned four letters in basketball and a pair in baseball...played quarterback, receiver and safety at Fairborn.
