Hoof Prints: A former walk-on, has continued to improve over his career...has a twin brother, Eric...gives UB good flexibility as he can play inside and outside linebacker and also excels on special teams...chose UB to play top level football for the hometown team.
Junior (2010): Was a key backup who saw an increased role on the defense as the season progressed... had 17 total tackles and 11 solo tackles for the season... had four tackles and a pass breakup against Rhode Island (9/2)... had three total tackles, including a tackle for loss, against Temple (10/23).
Sophomore (2009): Appeared in all 12 games and started twice...totaled 13 tackles, including eight solo efforts on the season...had a season-best four tackles, including three solo stops at Western Michigan (10/24)...had three tackles against Bowling Green (11/3)...had two tackles against both Gardner-Webb (10/10) and Akron (10/17).
Redshirt Freshman (2008): Appeared in 13 games as a reserve linebacker...had 17 tackles, including one for a loss and a fumble recovery...ranked second on the team with two interceptions...had a tackle and two interceptions against UTEP (8/28)...had a pair of solo tackles against Pittsburgh (9/6)...had a tackle for loss against Missouri (9/20)...had a pair of tackles against Miami (OH) (11/4), Bowling Green (11/21) and Kent State (11/28)...had a season-high three tackles and a fumble recovery against Connecticut in the International Bowl.
Freshman (2007): Redshirted in his first season at Buffalo.
High School: Earned three letters and was a two-year team captain for head coach Tom Godddard at Clarence High School...totaled 90 tackles and five interceptions as a senior en route to earning first-team All-State and All-Western New York honors...was also a three-time first-team all-league selection...named the 2006 Class AA North Defensive MVP...was also an All-League lacrosse player at Clarence.
