Hoof Prints: Big tight end who will challenge for the starting job in 2010...chose Buffalo for the academics, coaches and player environment.
Junior (2010): Played in nine games, making one start...caught three passes for 35 yards for the season, topped by a 16-yard reception against Miami (OH) (10/30).
Redshirt Sophomore (2009): Appeared in 10 games primarily on special teams.
Sophomore (2008): Spent the season as a redshirt.
Freshman (2007): Played in 10 games and started three as a true freshman…registered five catches for 28 yards on the season… one of only two true freshmen to start the first game of the season (Cook)…had a pair of catches in his first career game at Rutgers (8/30)…had a 13-yard reception in Buffalo’s win at Temple (9/8)…hauled in an eight-yard catch against Akron (10/25)…had a catch at Kent State (11/24).
High School: Starred on both sides of the ball at Jamestown...had 22 receptions for 500 yards and two touchdowns on offense and led the team in tackles on defense...captain as a senior...first team all-conference as a junior and senior and second-team All-Western New York...also an outstanding basketball player, having earned three letters...also set the school record for the dead lift with 465 pounds.
