2009-10: Raced in six cross country meets with a best 8K time of 26:06 at the Paul Short Invitational. Finished seventh in the mile (4:15.26) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Ran the opening leg of the Distance Medley Relay (10:00.16), earning an IC4A qualifying time. Placed ninth in the 1,500m (3:59.62) at the MAC Outdoor Championships.
2007-08: Earned the Coaches’ Award for the indoor season. Placed eighth in the mile (4:21.73) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Ran the opening leg of the Distance Medley Relay (10:09.41) which finished third at the MAC meet and earned an IC4A qualifying mark. Placed 10th in the 800m (1:54.20) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Ran in three cross country meets with a top time of 27:14.83 at Bowling Green Falcon Invitational.
2006-07: Part of UB’s record setting indoor 4x800 relay (7:20.16) from the IC4A Championships. Finished 13th in the 1,500m (4:05.35) at the MAC Outdoor Championships.
High School: Earned 16 letters and captained two seasons at Half Hollow Hills West High School for coaches Jim Christian and Tom Finn. Earned county MVP honors as a senior. Also earned all-league and all-conference honors in soccer.
Personal: Born August 31, 1988. Son of Michael and Kerry Zillmann. Has one brother (Michael). Favorite food is a Power Bar with chocolate milk. Favorite movie is Knocked Up. Favorite athlete is two-time Olympic medalist Wilson Kipketer. Majoring in psychology.
