2008-09: Raced in six cross country events with a top 8K time of 26:53.58 at the Bowling Green Falcon Invitational. Finished 66th at the MAC Cross Country Championships. Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor track seasons.
2007-08: Competed in five cross country meets. Set top 8K time of 27:24.42 at Bowling Green Falcon Invitational. Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor track seasons.
High School: Earned four letters at Sweet Home High School for coach Mike Lauria. Finished 64th (17:23.0) of 108 runners at the 2006 state cross country championships. Earned ECIC all-star honors.
Personal: Born September 15, 1989. Son of James and Terry Poley. Has one sister (Sarah). Favorite athlete is American record-holder in the mile Alan Webb. Favorite food is couscous. Favorite movie is Home Alone. Majoring in mathematics with a goal of becoming a math teacher.
