2009-10: Named UB’s Most Valuable women’s cross country runner. Raced in six meets with top 5K time of 19:38 at the UB Stampede Open and top 6K time of 22:37 at the Paul Short Invitational. Finished 47th at the MAC Cross Country Championships in 24:10.2 for 6K. Placed fifth in the 3,000m steeplechase with a season best time of 11:01.11 at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Ran the anchor leg of UB’s distance medley relay during the indoor season. Set team’s top 3,000m times of 10:07.97 indoors and 10:48.93 outdoors. Set UB’s fastest indoor 5,000m mark of 19:07.40 at the Cornell Upstate Challenge.
2008-09: Named Top Newcomer for cross country. Set season-best 5K time of 18:10.6 at the MAC Championships, finishing 32nd. Placed 12th in the 3,000m steeplechase (11:30.97) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Finished 18th in the mile (5:13.18) at the MAC Indoor Championships.
2007-08: Did not compete during the cross country or track seasons.
High School: Earned 13 letters for coaches Bob Goodell and Paul Pfeiffer at Marion Central High School. Finished fifth among 126 runners at the 2006 state cross country championships (19:00.8). Placed third as part of the intersectional relay at the state indoor championships. Set three indoor and two outdoor school records for the Black Knights.
Personal: Born August 18, 1989. Daughter of Frank Muster. Has three brothers (Logan, Dan, Paul) and one sister (Natalie). Enjoys seafood. Favorite athlete is Gerry McNamara. Favorite movies include Mean Girls and Boondock Saints. Would like to become a pediatric nurse. Majoring in nursing.
