2009-10: Part of UB’s record setting indoor distance medley relay team (9:54.65). Finished eighth in the mile (4:25.07) at MAC Indoor Championships. Set top mile time of 4:21.03 at Akron Invitational. Ran anchor leg for 4x400 relay at MAC Outdoor Championships, finishing fourth in a season best 3:15.92. Placed sixth in 800m at MAC meet in season-best 1:53.51.
2008-09: Did not compete during the cross country or track seasons.
2007-08: Set school record for indoor 600m (1:20.42). Part of of both of indoor relay teams that posted IC4A qualifying marks. Ran third leg of UB’s third-place Distance Medley Relay (10:09.41) at MAC Indoor Championships. Finished sixth in 800m (1:56.88) at MAC Outdoor Championships.
2006-07: Finished ninth in the 800m (1:55.05) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Set season-best mark of 1:53.13 in his 800m heat at the MAC meet. Ran the opening leg of UB’s record setting indoor 4x800 relay (7:42.16) at the IC4A Championships.
High School: Earned six letters and captained two seasons for coach Brian Swatland at Williamsville North High School. Was the indoor state runner-up in the 600m and won the ECIC and Section VI titles in the event. Also won the outdoor 800m title at the ECIC and Section VI meets and placed third at the state meet. Won his league title in the 800m.
Personal: Born May 25, 1988. Son of Bernard and Michele Bauman. Has one brother (George) and two sisters (Michele, Sherri). Sister Michele is a member of the UB women’s team. Favorite movie is Gladiator. Favorite athlete is Jeremy Wariner. Majoring in civil engineering.
