Sophomore (2023 - 24): Participated in four meets throughout the season...ran a new personal best 6k race (25:22.7) at the Paul Short Invitational...set a new personal best collegiate 5k time at the Canisius Alumni Classic, finishing in 20:13.2.
Freshman (2022 - 23): Competed at the University of Rochester Alumni Classic, setting a collegiate best time (27:02.5)...ran in the season-opening competition at Colgate, finishing the 4.8k race in 20:40.7.
High School: Qualified for Indoor and Outdoor High School Nationals as a senior.
Personal: Daughter of Jill and John O’Rourke...chose UB because of the academic programs offered and the family feel of the team...inspired by high school coaches and her brother...favorite athlete is Sydney McLaughlin because it is amazing to watch her race, and she is kind and humble...favorite movie is Mamma Mia...loves and can't live without hummus... competed in gymnastics before starting track...enjoys hiking and going to the beach.
