Bulls Rally to Defeat Cardinals 4-3 on Friday

MUNCIE, IN – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team (15-4, 2-2 MAC) rallied for a 4-3 road victory at Ball State on Friday afternoon.
The Cardinals won the doubles point with victories at second and third doubles to take a 1-0 lead in the match.
The Bulls then won a point by default at six singles to even the match before Esmee Andresen won 6-3, 6-2 at first singles and Maria Glowacka followed with a 7-5, 6-0 victory at the second position to put the Bulls back on top, 3-2. The hosts would then even the match at three with a win at fourth singles and send the contest to a deciding match at fifth singles where freshman Blanca Berges earned the clinching point with a 6-4, 1-6, 6-2 victory.
Up next, Buffalo welcomes Bowling Green to Miller Tennis Center on Sunday, March 30 at 12pm.
