Brackets Released for NCAA Championships

BUFFALO, NY – The brackets for the upcoming NCAA Championships were released on Wednesday. John Arceri (149), Jay Nivison (174) and Michael Petite (157) will be participating in the event beginning March 17 in Detroit.
Arceri drew the 29th seed and will wrestle 4th-seeded Sammy Sasso of Ohio State in his first match. Sasso is 19-1 on the season and finished second at the Big Ten Championships.
Nivison is also the 29th seed and will face Hayden Hidlay of NC State who is the fourth seed. Hidlay is 14-2 on the season and is a four-time All-American.
Petite, competing at the NCAA Championships for the second straight season, is the 29th seed. He will face Hidlay's teammate at NC State, Ed Scott. The 2022 ACC Champion, he is 22-1 on the season.
