Bulls Back in Action for Busy Weekend

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo cross country team is back in action after having last week off. The team will participate at the Penn State National Open and the Bowling Green Invitational. The former is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 15 with the latter kicking off at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The Penn State National Open will feature teams from Cornell, Duquesne, Georgia Tech, James Madison, Lehigh, Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern, Ohio, Penn, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Siena, Syracuse, and Youngstown State. The men's race will be 5.2 miles, about 8.37 kilometers, as the women's race is a 6k. MAC rival Bowling Green will host the Bowling Green Invitational where they will host two events, The Bob Rothermel Men's 8k along with The Steve Price Women's 6k.
