
Men’s Cross Country Competes at Penn State National Open

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The University at Buffalo men's cross country team participated in the Penn State National Open on Friday. The team finished ninth out of 10 programs finishing with 206 points in the 5.2-mile race. The team faced top national competition as Penn State, Georgia Tech and Syracuse also competed, just to name a few.
Scott Loforte led the way for the Bulls finishing 20th in 26:18.2. Armani Merlino (28th, 26:28.2) and Ryan Buzby (42nd, 26:55.6) were not far behind Loforte. Alex Hislop (72nd, 27:42.4) and William Marchant (76th, 27:52.5) round up the top-five for the Bulls.
