2008-09: Set school outdoor record in 100m hurdles (13.77) at Gina Relays. Finished eighth in the 100m hurdles (14.63) and ninth in the high jump (5-3.25) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Competed in the 100m hurdles at the NCAA East Regionals. Placed second in the high jump (5-7.75) at the MAC Indoor Championships, earning All-MAC Second Team honors.
2007-08: Named Top Newcomer for indoor track. Finished fifth in the pentathlon (3,541) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Tied for first in the high jump (5-7.75) and took third in the 60m hurdles (8.91) events of the competition. Did not compete during the outdoor season.
High School: Captained two seasons at J.P. Stevens High School. The New Jersey state high jump champion. Won three events (triple jump, 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles) and finished second in the high jump at the state sectional meet in 2007.
Personal: Born June 6, 1986. Daughter of James and Valerie Dixon. Has three brothers (Hassan, Quan, Lamar) and two sisters (Amika, Octavia). Favorite athlete is Florence Griffith-Joyner. Lists pasta and seafood among her favorite foods. Major is communication.
