2008-09: Named Coaches’ Award winner for the second straight outdoor season. Represented UB at the NCAA National Outdoor Championships in the pole vault. Finished third at the NCAA East Regionals with a season-best vault of 13-1.75 to earn All-East honors for the second consecutive season. Placed fourth (12-1.50) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Set season-best indoor height of 12-11.50 at the New Balance Invitational, tying for fourth against some of the nation’s best and attaining an ECAC qualifying mark. Named to Academic All-MAC outdoor team.
2007-08: An All-East honoree in the pole vault, clearing 12-6 at the NCAA East Regionals. Finished fifth (12-3.50) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Placed fourth (12-10.75) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Cleared 13-0 indoors to win the Akron Zips Open. Set season-best outdoor mark of 12-8.75 at the UB Invitational.
2006-07: Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor seasons.
Previous College: Attended Washington State University. Set a season-best height of 13-1.75 at the USC Trojan Invite.
High School: Earned eight letters at Iroquois High School for coach Thomas Wood. New York State and National Outdoor pole vault champion. Set national high school indoor (13-5.25) and outdoor (14-0) records. The third US junior woman to clear 14 feet.
Personal: Born September 26, 1986. Daughter of Dennis and Nancy Maskulinski. Has two brothers (Jeff, Brian) and one sister (Jill). Enjoys country music. Lists vaulting 14 feet as her greatest athletic experience. Majoring in exercise science.
