Graduate Student (2023 - 2024): Earned Second-Team All-MAC honors for the indoor season following a silver medal performance at MAC Indoor Championships in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 14:45.43...finished seventh in MAC Outdoor Championships in the 5,000 meter with a time of 15:01.05...joined the all-time indoor ranks in two different events, running a 14:26.62 time in the 5,000 meter to rank fifth all-time and a 4:11.99 time in the mile, ranking tenth all-time...had a personal best outdoor time in the 5,000 meter at the Raleigh Relays, finishing the event in 14:25.86 to ranks seventh all-time on the UB leaderboards...ran a personal best indoor 3,000 meter time at MAC Indoor Championships (8:21.46).
Senior (2022 - 2023): Ran a personal best 8k time at the Canisius Alumni Classic.
Junior (2021 - 2022): MAC Indoor Bronze Medalist in DMR, 8th All-Time for UB in 3k (8:27.20), and ran a PR in the Mile of 4:16.11. Outdoor season ran a PR 14:42.32 at the Bison Outdoor Classic, and PR of 3:55.43 at th3e UB Team Invite.
Sophomore (2020 - 2021): Placed 10th at the Indoor MAC Championships Mile in a personal best 4:26.56, placed 2nd at the Geneseo Its Gonna be May Meet 3k Steeple Chase with a personal best 9:51.72.
Freshman (2019 - 2020): Indoor T&F ran 6 meets with a PR of 4:22.55/mile at the Akron Invite.
High School: Five-Time Section II Champion...seven-time Cross Country Suburban Council All-Star honors...two-time New York State podium finisher.
Personal: Son of Kristen and Reid Hislop...brother, Jack ...chose UB for the big school atmosphere with competitive athletic programs and high level academics...inspired by his parents...favorite athlete is his mom because she works really hard and competes at a very high level...favorite TV shows and movies are Peaky Blinders, Friends, and the Harry Potter series...favorite foods are pizza and chicken parmesan.. .likes playing video games.
